    Hi guys got one of these routers, can i put 3rd party firmware on it? if so which1?

    sorry you can't. it uses a different chipset and no src code is available. if you want 3rd party firmware then go for a WRT54G/GS v1-4 or WRT54GL

    OK thanks. Just binned the POS and bought a Netgear rangemax MIMO (half price at pc world) hasnt dropped signal since i got it. Only a day like but thats a marked improvement on the linksys.

    Just a question regarding the 3rd party firmware.

    Any 3rd party firmware for the WRT54G will work on the WRK54G??
