I was looking at the supported versions and I really didn't see if it is or isn't for the R6300v2 that was custom for Charter, that is support as well. If it is great, if not, no worry's there is the alternatives. Regards

I was able to make it work by using an initial flash of dd-wrt (dd-wrt.K3_R6300V2CH.chk) followed by a tomato flash (tomato-R6300v2-AT-ARM-3.5-140-VPN-64K.trx). Oddly, I had to do a full reset after the *.trx flash to make tomato come up instead of dd-wrt.

I actually thought at one point Shibby had mentioned in 131 there was a reference of CH in with the r6300v2 but didn't see it, although I'd like to just add the abitcfg-r6300v2CH to the folder and build one but unfortunately my machine is under powered and may not come out right. The hardware is the same as the r6300v2 just different board_id I just don't like the ideal of changing it seems something in future builds that might change that could cause problems leading one to think it's the firmware? Thank you for your input Dan Belk . Currently running kong build on it and it's been pretty stable considering he has a r6300v2 and develops off it to support it as well. Maybe someone will do as I suggest about adding the abitcfg-r6300v2CH and building the initial.flash for the Charter router, who knows?
