What you need to do is go back to Shibby's site and go to Download > Tomato Firmware > Click K26RT-N
Don't choose the builds with USB, you lack one on that device anyway.

    Choose tomato-K26-1.28.RT-N5x-MIPSR2-140-Max.zip

Awesome. I had downloaded that, a VPN and NOCAT build, and was deciding which to use. I'll use the Max one.

    Thanks!

If you have the original RT-N12 you need to use an RT build, not RT-N.

If you have an RT-N12B1 or D1 then you can use the build Mr9v9 specified. I used to use the 132 Max build on a couple and it worked fine. I use the ASUS firmware now because the only D1s left are setup as access points, and the roaming assistant seems to work better than trying to roll my own in Tomato. But I was probably doing it wrong TBH.
