sounds like it. any issues with DNS at all? have you rebooted the router at all? might be worth this incase a service is stopped on the router itself. are you running default firmware or tomato?

sd-idle is a daemon that spins down HDDs after a specified time of inactivity (minimum timer is 5 minutes if I recall). So no, it's not immediate.

Yes, I get those erratic and very high RSSI (even positive!) values intermittently, but only on 2.4GHz.

shibby .. i tested also 5.110 series and found two problems... rssi signal with 'exotic' figures and 5GHz signal 40MHz not recognized by Intel cards.. but amazing results with Realtek wireless cards... edit.. 5.110

5.100.138.20 is a very stable driver - the most stable from all Asus drivers IMO. Release with driver 5.110 was a test only, but in regular releases i`m still using 5.100.138.20. I will release also images with latest Asus driver. If people will say...
